Server rules

This site is a place for commercial developers of plugin's to the Joomla/Mambo/Elxis (JME) CMSs to discuss their businesses and ideas.

You are welcome to join the JCD-A if you are a commercial developer of plugins for JME CMSs however due to the sensitive nature of this subjectwithin the wider community we are unwilling to become a focal point for people who believe that what we do is somehow 'evil' or just plain wrong. Therefore we will gladly grant you access to the JCD-A on the provisio that you agree to the following statements:

• I am a developer of commercial plugins (Components, Modules, Mambots/Plugins/Tools &/or Templates) and/or Services for Joomla/Mambo/Elxis
• I understand that there is a need within the JME CMS environment for commercial plugins and that sometimes it is good business sense to encrypt those plugins.
• I agree with the JCD-A - Joomla License Position Statement.
• I agree to abide by the JCD-A's Core Principles.
• I will treat other members of this Association with respect (although this doesn't mean that somebody can't take the micky when I say something silly)
• If I act in a way that is contrary to these statements I understand I will be removed from the JCD-A, possibly without warning.
• 
  If you can happily state that you agree to these statements then we look forward to seeing your join request in the Join Requests board, along with the url to your commercial site.

If you simply want to participate in forum discussions you do not need to agree to the above rules (except we still reserve the right to ban you if need be), those only apply to JCD-A join requests. Everybody is welcome to post and participate in discussions.
